Silikoftal® non-stick 60 is a silicone polyester resin. Used as a solvent-based binder for production of heat-resistant release coatings for bakeware, non-stick coatings in combination with PTFE, decorative coatings of cookware, household appliances and electric, and gas heaters with a permanent thermal stability of 250°C, and garden shears, screws. Provides good adhesion and very good dishwasher detergent resistance. Exhibits particularly good release of sugar containing baking goods. Combines the properties of silicones such as heat resistance, weathering resistance and low surface tension with those of polyesters such as low thermoplasticity, high flexibility and good pigmentability. It has a storage stability of 6 months. Main applications include inner and outer coatings for cooking utensils and bakeware which comply with FDA/BfR regulations. Silikoftal® non-stick 60 has a shelf life of 24 months.
