Algol Chemicals to combine the Baltics and the Ukraine & Belarus Business Units - Juris Avotins appointed Business Unit Director of the new Business Unit

Algol Chemicals will combine the Baltics Business Unit and the Ukraine & Belarus Business Unit from 1 March 2023. In conjunction with the combination of business units, Mr. Juris Avotins has been appointed Business Unit Director of the new bigger Business Unit Baltics, Ukraine and Belarus. 

Mr. Avotins will report to the CEO Kalle Kettunen. He will also be a member of Algol Chemicals Management Team.

Most recently Mr. Avotins has been working for forest industry company Stora Enso as Sales Director Baltics. Prior to Stora Enso Juris has more than 20 years of experience in the chemical distribution industry from the company Polystylex and especially from Telko, where he has held a number of director positions.
