Algol Chemicals collaboration with Evonik expands to include VESTAKEEP® PEEK polymers
Algol Chemicals and German company Evonik Operations GmbH have signed a distribution agreement for VESTAKEEP® PEEK polymers. The agreement covers Algol Chemicals’ Finnish, Scandinavian and Baltic markets.
Evonik is one of the world’s leading specialty chemicals companies. The companies have collaborated for a long time, and Algol Chemicals has several Evonik products in its portfolio. These products are sold to almost all industries covered by Algol Chemicals.
VESTAKEEP® PEEK is one of the most durable polymers on the market and is especially suitable for the production of plastic components for demanding applications.

VESTAKEEP® PEEK is a semi-crystalline thermoplastic polymer that offers excellent durability. It can replace metals providing improved system durability and lower component manufacturing costs. These benefits derive from the material properties of temperature, corrosion, and abrasion resistance, high rigidity combined with low weight, and versatile processability.
Polyetheretherketone molding compounds are suitable for manufacturing long-lasting, heavy-duty components. Such components are used, for example, for semiconductors and cable production, automotive and aviation industries, in mechanical engineering, as well as for food and drinking water applications.
