Algol Chemicals acquires Buratec

Algol Chemicals Oy has agreed on 3 October 2025 to acquire the business of Buratec Oy. With the
acquisition, Algol Chemicals will strengthen its position in the Finnish and Baltic markets for plastic
colourants, additives, compounds and raw materials.

Buratec has been operating in the market for 34 years in close cooperation with leading principals in the industry. As a result of the business acquisition, three employees will transfer to Algol Chemicals as long-service employees.

The transaction is expected to be completed by the end of October, after which Buratec will continue its
operations as part of Algol Chemicals.
