SABOSTAB® UV 312 by Sabo is oxanilide-based UV absorber. It provides excellent light stability in plastics. This additive imparts low volatility and excellent compatibility with polar plastics. SABOSTAB® UV 312 is less discoloring than conventional UV absorbers, even in alkaline environments and in the presence of metal catalyst residues. It can be used in combination with optical brighteners without interference. It is used for broad range of applications including polyamides, PVC (rigid and flexible), polyesters (thermoplastic and thermoset), polyurethanes.
